Having just moved into my first office space (insert victory dance), accessorizing is on my mind. We spend so much time at our desks, and all too often it is spent in white boxes with only your photo collection for inspiration. I’m a total sucker for white and gray color palettes, but I think we could all use some color to brighten our work days.
I looked to Poppin for most of my office accessories and decided to go with navy (okay, it’s not exactly bright buuuuut, it’s a color). I also have these brightly colored push pins that will help brighten our image boards.
Some easy ways to brighten your space, even if your employer hasn’t done it for you, are with colored office supplies like these ones from Poppin:
I’m also always writing things down in my notebook. Try buying these guys from Moleskine or Shinola:
Other quick ways are in your pins, pens and pencils:
Or go to the masters of color: Pantone. Their colored mugs are a designer favorite. I think I need this teapot asap.
Last ditch effort- brighten things up with office flowers! (that’s a hint hint for you to send me flowers any time you want). My sis likes to get a bundle of fresh cut flowers from the market every week in the spring- I think I’ll follow her lead… now all I need is the mug (see image at top!).
